Dubai – Mubasher: Marka's consolidated financial statements revealed that the compnay's losses rose 168.6% year-on-year in 2016, according to a bourse filing.

Losses reached AED 149 million in 2016, compared to AED 55.48 million in 2015.

Higher losses are mainly attributed to “the depreciation of the fixed assets, servicing the debt, and the impairment of the goodwill which arose on various acquisitions over the prior years”.
